TABLE TOP NEIGHBORHOOD FARM

Creative energy pops up in different ways this year. It's been a great growing season so far, and cucumbers, squashes, greens and beans, strawberries and more find their way to our roadside farm stand. But like all things, change is ever-present and as an aesthetically sensitive individual, I often have a hard time accepting this change on the farm. As each row of plants mature into its full glory I forget the point in growing produce is to harvest and eat - I just want it to sit beautifully on the vine...I also have to let go as the season's cycles force the plants to retire themselves. But we still have some time yet before winter puts us all to sleep. Kiss the bounty as it flies by.
